ISPA was recently named the recipient of the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce Environmental Excellence Award for 2018. Nominees were evaluated on their environmental conservation efforts in the areas of energy, water, waste, green procurement and protection of natural heritage as well as community work that nurtures the ethic of social responsibility.
Shannon Soules, Business Analyst at ISPA says, “Winning this award has made ISPA feel very proud. We believe in protecting the environment for three reasons: First, we all live and breathe the same air; It is important that we do our part to keep it free of pollution. Second, we want to make sure that future generations inherit a healthy planet in which to thrive on. Finally, ISPA believes it is important to set a good example. We want to say, ‘This is what we’re doing; You can do it too. Let’s work together to make positive change happen.’”
